Dear Friends and Colleagues,

New for this year Teachers Helping Teachers (THT) Seminar

Following on from discussions at the roundtable last year, we have provided 45 minutes after lunch each day for a poster session. This is to encourage local teachers/participants/researchers to gain experience of presenting without pressure. I am happy to join the sessions and present posters too.

Please ask the participants to sign up in advance if they would like to present posters. That will allow you to provide a place to display the posters. You need to decide if you will use tape, pins, or magnets, and what kind of boards you will hang the posters on.

Recommendations:
  • Posters should be in portrait mode, and where possible in an A0 size.
  • Posters should have a QR code, as a convenient way for people to photograph the poster.
  • Authors should add a photo of themselves on the poster, together with their contact details and institution.
I am hoping that students who are training to become teachers in the future will also be excited about the poster sessions, especially if they have never had the chance of giving a public presentation before.

I look forward to hearing from you.
        Best wishes,  Roger Palmer
